A modest trial to bring authentic Indo Chinese food at affordable price to Agartalians. Just for information, I grew up in a boarding school where I came across fellow mates from across the country and was amazed by how the food habit varied for every region and state. It was an experience of life time and I still cherish those days, especially post vacation days where my mates would bring home cooked eatables which consisted pungent smelling vegetables to hot and spicy meat which we savor only to realise the next morning. During those days I has the faintest idea about business but yes, I grew up to love food and always craved for similar stuff when I was at Agartala on vacation. There were few options back then and the restaurant and eatery joint scene wasn't that cool as we see now.
This led to our modest approach when we decided to start a small eatery in the year 2011, 13th Feb to be exact. A small eatery consisting of 4 tables called Momos N More. Our motive was to get the taste of Momos which was age old delicacy in other parts of North East but haven't seen the daylight in Agartala, Tripura rather say wasn't available commercially.
Also, all we knew about pork was, the still famous Wahan Mosodeng (Suar er bharta) and Pork Curry (Suar Mangsho Kosha). No restaurant served dishes based on pork in those days. Why no pork in restaurants? Why the stereotypes? So we also decided to include Pork in our menu, and this time we made sure we had other preparations and recipes of the star meat.
That's how Momos N More came in to existence and We are very proud that we have been in association with our Customers and Consumers for the last 10 years.
